DYNAMICS GP PROJECT ACCOUNTING INTERFACE

Create Project Accounting purchase orders, inventory adjustments and receipts, and enforce Project Accounting budgets
 

The WorkPlace Project Accounting interface makes WorkPlace Requisition, WorkPlace Time and WorkPlace Expense fully compatible with the functionality in Dynamics GP Project Accounting.

With the WorkPlace Project Accounting interface, employees and contractors can track costs in requisition line items and have specific purchases charged to specific contracts, projects and cost categories. Employee and contractor time can similarly be tracked and applied at the contract, project and cost category level. Users can select contracts, projects, cost categories and budgeted inventory items in real-time utilizing all of the rules established by Project Series.

The creation of Project Series Purchase Orders is seamless and done in real-time (no batch imports). The Project Accounting fields will only be visible within WorkPlace when integrated with Dynamics GP Project Series. The appropriate project configuration must be completed with the Project module in Dynamics GP.

When Needed:

  • We need to be able to charge purchases entered with WorkPlace Requisition to specific projects in Dynamics GP Project Accounting
  • We need to be able to charge expenses entered with WorkPlace Expense to specific projects in Dynamics GP Project Accounting
  • We need to be able to charge time usage entered with WorkPlace Time to specific projects in Dynamics GP Project Accounting
  • We need to be able to apply individual requisition, time or expense line items to Dynamics GP Project Accounting at the contract, project and cost category class level
